About me

I’m a professionally trained British female voiceover artist, with a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre plus extensive coaching and development by some of the industry’s top voiceover professionals. As a data nerd and qualified health sciences lecturer, explaining tricky concepts and talking in acronyms is second nature, hence my love of technical scripts. From my broadcast quality home studio I turn your voice over projects around quickly and to the high standard you need. With 20 years’ experience in education, I’m often hired as the voice for eLearning, training courses and medical narration. I also love a fun, dry-humoured script or being the voice of a charity campaign. Who doesn’t?!

My voice style

My voice has been described as warm, friendly, earthy, engaging, direct and trustworthy, with an acting age range of 25-45. My usual casting is relatable, neutral female in the 30-40s age range, but my commercial demo best shows off my range so I’d recommend a listen even if it’s not a commercial you’re making. My background gets me regularly booked to deliver training material and patient information, and I can happily narrate your boring explainer videos and give them some life!

My accent

Growing up between Slough and Windsor my accent can be dialled up or down as necessary, I’m just as comfortable dropping my T’s as pronouncing them! I have a neutral Southern English accent with authentic and relatable London tones; easy to understand for eLearning modules, professional yet friendly for corporate voiceovers, clear and engaging for product explainers and animated videos.

My work ethic

I give each job my full attention, and take pride in producing broadcast quality audio as well as saying all the tricky words correctly. I can clean and edit your files to a high standard but I also work with a fabulous network of fellow voice actors and audio engineers in case your project needs a little something extra that I can’t do myself! If I don’t think I am the right person for the job, I will find you someone who is.

Something I have never voiced

Those crazy “send us all your unwanted gold” commercials. I don’t know about you, but I’m just getting weighed down by all this pesky unwanted gold, so putting it in an envelope and sending it off to someone I don’t know sounds like a fabulous plan! Seriously though, those commercials always make me giggle. Especially when they mention you can also send platinum and diamonds (so convenient!)

How to hire me

Head to the contact page and either fill in the online form, drop me an email, or if you prefer to pay via a third party you can contact one of my representatives. Once I have a good idea of your project I’ll give you a quote, then you can either leave me to get on with it or dial into the session to direct. Unless you are recording down the line I’ll tidy up the finished file and send it to you as a WAV or MP3.
